Regional race in Gent. Nice area and good course, not that difficult, but tricky with lot of controls and turns. Fast and beatiful terrain or park. Some of the controls were statues and we had to run into cave and tunnels several times.
Race was like a sprint but long distance with 2 map-exchange. Heartrate was rather low, maybe due to the lots of fast running during last week+. I changed my speed form normal long distance speed to sprint speed during the race. Several mistakes because my mind and orienteering was not in "sprint-mode".

map from 1st Lenteloop is now added. Nice and rather typical terrain. I know that I will miss all friends and these very nice and relaxed/casual events here when we move back to Finland next summer.

"Iltarastit" or local race or training in Woluwe Park. About 2,5km from home. Good course and quite much climbing. Due to the rain slopes (grass and mud) were really slippery. I didn´t run full speed, it was more or less about 80% of race speed. Mistake in 1st control. I was too much on the right and in the wrong re-entrance. maybe 90``. Rest went ok.
Good training and running felt rather good.

Total climb (Home-Woluwe park-Race-Home) 295meters. And people say that Belgium is flat country

National Middle Distance in Maasmechelen. I was little bit tired before the race, but still I wanted to do good result. Race started quite well and running was rather good. But then when I left control 5 everything went wrong. I started to read control 9 and actually I made mistake there as well. I punched without noticing and started to run towards 8 (Believing it is 7) when I realized what has happened. I stopped for a while to think what to do. Then, because it is my last run here in this terrain, I decided to continue. Motivation to push was gone and I ran in easy speed.
Nice and different terrain. Really big hills and good map. CLimbing was bit more than in control descriptions.

Sprintrace in Hélécine. Nice park with few lakes, "castle", stone walls, but also really green areas. Legs were lazy and I couldn`t really push. I need to start interval and hill training again. I hope the basis is strong enough.

Regional "Easter" race in Leopoldsburg. Easy terrain, mostly running. One mistake, about 1.30. Running felt hard, maybe due to yesterday. I could have put 5 in intensity, but because I didn´t warm up before the start, I had to start little bit slower.
