Second race (town orienteering). Feeling tired because first race and I couldn´t push that hard. This course was more like town sprint with some tricky parts :)

First race. City orienteering. O made stupid mistakes, for example on my way to 1st control, I found myself at 3rd control and they totally in the different area. Some other mistakes as well, but not so bad.

15min before and 15 minutes after.

Running intervals 42:00 [4]

10*90sec/30sec between + 5minutes recovery run + 4*uphill (2.01-1.55-1.48-1.43). After every hill 30 times knee bend (kyykkyyn ylös) and easy jogging down (about 2minutes). Good training, I was suprised that feeling was good and running felt easy. Weather was nice. I started at 18.00 and temperature was still about 19. Spring has come and you can smell that in some places...

Running felt good. I ran slow and in the different routes than normally. I found very nice routes and I was lost for a while as well. Sound of airport saved me and I was able to orientate myself :)

Still fever. Stomach is better, but no night orienteering champs today. I am having bad luck again. That race was one of my goals for this season and now I couldn´t participate. I think it is going to be hard to find motivation again

My wife Virpi was in Finland and I stayed home together with our son Ville > no possibility to train. Virpi and Lauri are back. They arrived to Dusseldorf > Instead of training, driving 420 km and not so slow speed. It was almost like training
