OMM day 2. Last 2 kilometers were really hard. Final position after 2 days 36.

One of the hardest races ever. Hard terrain, terrible weather and backbag with you. Sleeping in the tent after 1st day, etc.
Position after 1 st day 36/187
Orienteering went well, but we lost some time in long leg.Next time we are cleaver. have to train more and different way. But anyway, this was event to remember when you are old. Thanks Bart!

Morning run and same time last run before OMM. This was not as I planned, but I had to do some other things than training. Tomorrow flight to Scotland. I am really waiting for our adventure. All thought I am little worried that baby will born during my stay in Scotland, I hope not.

Start of a njght orienteering season. Relay. I ran 1st leg, not much mistakes, but concentration was not best one. Map was 1:5000 and lots of controls.

VVO Middle distance. One big mistake (2.30) and 2 smaller 20sec each. That drop me out of podium. Most likely 4th position. Running felt easy, but due to the lack of hard training session (intervals, etc) speed is not good enough. Allthought now I can keep that pace quite long time and that was goal when I started to train in July (for OMM).

Regional race. Not much challenges in orienteering, mostly running in the paths and roads. Increasing speed. Legs tired from yesterday. My shape is hiding somewhere, any clues how to find it?

In Foret du Soignes. First 10 minutes slower then 1.15 faster and 20 minutes slower again. Quite hard rain, but running is starting to feel easier again. maybe I am in that age that recovery needs more time than 15 or 20 years ago.
