Bike Trails at Nockamixon SP. Starting at Tower Road lot, Cold Spot, Hammer, Haycock Run, Lower Eastern Woods, Upper Jaywalk, South Park past the Gnome Home and finishing at South Park Road (where Janet had parked the car). Some muddy area and all stream or trickle crossings had water in them. Nice day - low 60s and sunny.

Martin’s Creek Environmental Center, along the Delaware River about halfway between Easton and the Water Gap. This place also seems to have a few other names but it is being actively maintained, probably by the local township. Nice trails, not too rocky and rooty. Many of the trails follow old logging roads. Some interesting, large rock features in the southern part but in an area which is a little trashy due to recent logging. Low 60s and mostly overcast - felt some humidity.

Tyler SP, Green Training Course with streamers set out by Sam K. 5.1k, 153m, 1:7500 map. Mix of developed park (trails, disc golf course), semi-open fields and woods. Some scratchy vegetation which likely will get worse as the growing season progresses. Map has lots of detail (perhaps more than needed). Temp about 50 and overcast.

An OK run - good practice reading vegetation and trying to find ways through it. Found the streamers at all except 2, 8 and 17. Pretty sure I was in the right place for 2 and 8 and wasn’t at the right place for 17. Biggest time loss was in the semi-open vegetation areas (particularly where an obvious stream was obscured on the map by dark green).

Lehigh Gap Nature Center, starting at the west end. Double G, Chestnut Oak, Prairie Grass and Charcoal Trails then back via Charcoal, Prairie Grass and LNE trails. Ranged from rail trail to rock gardens. Spotted two charcoal terraces from the Charcoal Trail, one of which has a stone fireplace built on it (and offers a nice view of the valley and was my turn-around point). Low 50s and partly sunny.

Trexler Preserve trails. Janet dropped me off at the North Range parking area (which was nearly full, with 4-5 times the number of cars I’ve seen there in the past). Rode the trails there for about 45 minutes, then descended on the Broken Arrow trail and eventually made my way to the lot where Janet had hiked from. For all the cars, I had few encounters with other bikers, which is a good thing. There was one group who didn’t seem to grasp the concepts of “move off the trail if you stop” and “one-way trail”. Net downhill of about 50m. Mostly cloudy, mid 50s.

Note: Forgot my heart rate strap so data are from wrist sensor (and therefore suspect).

Nice day for riding - low 50s and mostly cloudy.
