Trail Run at Bradley Palmer SP (near Topsfield, MA). I was in the area on business, had done a bit of research beforehand and had some time to get a run in. Extensive trail network with numbered posts at almost every intersection. I had a copy of the trail map (which shows the numbers) so set up a course using trail junctions as control points. Forced me to stay focused as I ran. Trails range from single track, to grass, to old carriage roads. Area would make for interesting orienteering (sprints with all the trails?), although at this time of year parts of the woods looked pretty thick. Does NEOC still make maps? Maybe CSU?

Still very humid but about 80F, so cooler than the last few days (which has been my lame excuse for not running).

AOWN - Saw two foxes hanging out atop a large dirt pile. They left pretty quickly when they spotted me. Some FDF's, but they weren't too bothersome. Score was about even, in the low single digits, although the one I caught in my mouth may have survived. Ewww.
