Sunday Jul 29

Trail Run 55:30 [3] 5.13 mi (10:48 / mi)
shoes: NB 809
Trail run in Albany Pine Bush (Blueberry Hill and environs). Hot and humid. Had planned to for an hour but felt like I was struggling to keep going, so didn't make an effort to stretch the run. Some of the trails were a bit overgrown, with scratchy things projecting out into the trails. Shorts plus scratchy things plus sweat is not comfortable. :-(

Saturday Jul 28

Road Run 31:19 [3] 3.61 mi (8:39 / mi)
shoes: NB878 - #7
Shaker Museum Rd. and back. 76F with the dew point only a few degrees lower. Sprinkled for most of the time.

AOWN: Spotted a family of skunks crossing a recently mowed field. They first looked like a big ball of black and white fur moving across the field. As they got closer I could tell it was an adult (mom, I assume) and at least two little ones hanging very close. I didn't go close enough to tell if there might have been a third sibling on the far side. Surprised to see them out in the daytime.

Wednesday Jul 25

Road Run 31:02 [3] 3.61 mi (8:34 / mi)
shoes: NB878 - #7
66S, Richmond Rd to Bashford and back. Two days in a row! (mostly because I know I won't be able to run tomorrow - EMPO's Annual Meeting with pizza and beer probably involved, which will preclude running.) Apparently this was just a "jog" to some. Felt like running to me. Low 80's.

Tuesday Jul 24

Road Run 29:28 3.44 mi (8:33 / mi)
shoes: NB878 - #7
66S and back. 2 x 0.25 mi at ~1:43 pace. Not sure if two reps counts as an interval workout, but that's what I did. Low 70's, partly cloudy.
