Trail Run 1:31:45 [3] 9.41 mi (9:45 / mi)
shoes: NB 809
Trail run at Camp Saratoga in Wilton Wildlife Preserve (N of Saratoga Springs). Trails were packed snow, "groomed for skiing" but firm enough that I was leaving no footprints. Several small hills, some steep. Temperature in the low 30's with some breeze which wasn't really noticeable in the woods. Finished just in time as it started to sleet and rain.

Friday Feb 15

Treadmill 32:10 [3] 3.55 mi (9:03 / mi)
shoes: NB878 - #7
Treadmill - played with the incline to keep from being totally bored. Was still bored, but falling temps and increasing wind with snow and ice outside made me wimp out. Didn't need a slide rule since the treadmills display both mph and min/mi.

Other (Downhill Skiing) 1:00:00 [2] *
Skiing with my Valentine at Gore Mtn. Conditions were quite good since they had gotten 8 - 10" of new snow and not the sleet/rain/slop mix enjoyed further to the south and east. There may have been a bit of sleet on the lower part of the mountain since there was some crusty stuff on ungroomed trails, but once we figured that out we stayed up high and it was great. A pretty good workout for the legs since I skied a bunch of moguls and glades.

Tuesday Feb 12

Treadmill intervals 42:10 5.05 mi (8:20 / mi)
shoes: NB878 - #7
Intervals - 8 x 2:00 @ 7:03 pace with 1:30 recovery. Plus warm up and cool down. This may be the first time I've ever done more than 5 miles on the treadmill.
