EMPO Club Champs at Cole Hill. 30 control Score-O on a new map by Phil and Marty H-T. The woods are generally quite nice except for the occasional scratchy area. Trails and stone walls very well mapped and were great for navigation.
There was a three hour time limit for the score-O which I figured would be enough time to get them all (area is about 2 x 3 km). In retrospect, my route wasn't the most efficient, but was OK. My route was about 12.5 km straight line and I measured the "best" route at about 12.0 km. Since it is State Forest land, there are patches of private land intermingled with the state land, so direct routes aren't always possible. I missed a bit on three controls, in all cases being too loose with attackpoints. Also drifted well off compass bearings a few times mid-leg. Still got them all with plenty of time to spare. Won M21 Club Champs, primarily because the field was pretty thin. One other person got them all, about 10 minutes faster, but he was in M35. Temperature in the mid-40's with a mix of sun and clouds.

2 x 1 km at tempo pace with 3:00 easy in between. 4:22 split for both, a bit faster than intended 4:30 pace. N on 66 and back. Temp was 55F, so ran in shorts - nice!
