Ontario O-Fest Course 7 (in M55 class - M45, F21, F35 and M18 were also on this course). A middle distance course - 4.0k, 150m on the Vorlage map (at Ski Vorlage near Wakefield, QC). A very good (and fun) course in challenging technical and physical terrain. Lots of rock features and hills but good visibility and runnability (when not too rocky). Some trails and of course ski trails. Map printed at 1:10000 - I used my magnifier more than usual (the course 6 map printed at 1:7500 made me jealous).

A so-so run with most of my errors due to not reading map detail and/or drifting off-line. Biggest time loss was on #7 when I mis-read the ski trails and took a bit to figure out where I was, even though I knew right where I was when I first got to the trails. Probably had about 8 or 9 minutes total time lost. Ended up 4th in M55 and 16th overall on the course. Course was probably about 1k longer than it should have been to hit the 30 - 35 minute winning time target.
