Sometimes it's worth getting up early!
Sun had risen in some places before I arrived at La Fouly. Ran/walked/jogged up Val Ferret until I hit sunshine, regretted not having sunglasses, continued just far enough to hit shade and peer around the corner at Grand Golliat.
About the least wildest bit of Switzerland I've seen, despite being not too far from civilisation.
The snow was mostly solid, pierced the crust a bunch of times on the way down. No serious damage, but it meant I couldn't go fast.
