orienteering 1:35:00 [2] *****
Train to Clermont, bus to ceyrat, hitched to
LA CASSSIERE
world cup training map, where I bashed my head against subtle contours for an hour and a half, rerunning (or fast walking for some of it) a course from the belgian training camp last year.

Monday Sep 11

trail run 51:36 [3]
railway run. mentally tired...

need more sleep, also rt foot is slightly bruised

Saturday Sep 9

trail run 1:50:56 [2]
Started off at a good pace, slowed down after thirty+ minutes when I found a back entrance to Parc de Breteuil. ran up to the chateau, said hello to le chat botté and barbe-bleu and little red riding hood... went running more, returned, stole some plums and raspberries and an apple, visited barbe bleue and friends properly, ran home...

wrecked afterwards, possibly due to the break, possibly also to do with strong sunshine on head

Thursday Sep 7

trail run hills 46:42 [4]
record broken!!!!
down to 1:21/3 for the uphill!

cotes d'orsay
only two of the fast... getting dark

Wednesday Sep 6

trail run 1:14:57 [3]
past chateu de méridon

running in sunshine, the mazayes map (1:10) is legible in some areas. Not sure how much help a magnifier will be...

Tuesday Sep 5

trail run 59:45 [2]
railway run

spent most of the time deciding that a theorem i cited was false. actually it isn't. but it took me several hours to convince myself. guh.

Sunday Sep 3

trail run 48:49 [3]
above st-remy, part of it in terrain. tired. creaky. rest day tomorrow (stretches&strength again, must get some core strength back)

Saturday Sep 2

trail run 51:06 [3]
railway run,
ran 5 minutes of it fast, pissed off after discovering a fault in my only accepted article... at least i found it before publication. Spent half of Sunday correcting it. hohum

Friday Sep 1

trail run 1:56:13 [2]
past choisel
Mazayes map, only managed 15 controls but I was running them backwards :)
it was getting dark so under tree cover the map was hard to read
