evening, wanted to go for a 5km run... tok a wrong turn so i went much further, then another wrong turn so running in the dark... scrambling up cliffs... and more... nearly didn't find my tent... out for maybe 75 mins... running well for the first thirty at least. |

walked from the hostel to the map... then ran around, mostly on tracks as my oshoes were being repaired.
not too technical so fast for quite a bit of it. there was a hill involved, possibly only a couple of hundred metres though... all in one go almost. |

ran up the hill from the hostel... 700m climb apparently... it certainly felt like it on the way down, a large part of which i walked... but not the unmarked forest paths in the dark :)

| Walked up 1000m to Dom Komn and Bogatinov r some such... in thunderstorm... blue sky on top... clouded over again by the time i got back down...

| Hiked... left at 9, got back at 9... not walking for maybe an hour and a half or two hours...
Started at the campsite, up past the source of the Sava(ica) to Crno jezero... swam there... then on up the valley of the 7 lakes, back down the valley to the east through dedno polje and down down down to Stara Fuzina... hitched from ribcev laz rather than collapsing...
1700m climb, and descent... going on for 30km perhaps... |

| run in the hills abve idrija without a map... so i went the wrong way... probably did 500m climb looking at the map afterwards... don't know about distance. was out for 1h40, but some of it was scratching my head and some was walking downhill |

| Novi Svet... pronounced something like no (y) sweat... unfortunately i'm crap so it was something of a misnomer. Drew out a course and ran the first half ok... then made some horrendous mistakes the likes of which...
hmmm.... guess i need to learn to read a map. still rough underfoot and poor visibility makes it ahrd to keep a bearing.
i was actually out for over 140 minutes but... |

Technical, super rough underfoot with all the limestone... walk/run around, mostly on path, getting used to the map. |
