Thursday Aug 7

running 15:00 [3]
moderately fast run to get the legs loosened up... muscles feel good, knees less so but they won't cause any trouble... starting 09:51 tomorrow morning...

Wednesday Aug 6

orienteering 1:00:00 [1]
Pfannenstiel Relay area

scouting out the area... seemed very irish - small features, tracks, big pines, brambles... in running gear... mosty walking/jogging... knee still a bit dodgy, but should be fine tomorrow ... good to rest today

Tuesday Aug 5

orienteering 40:00 [3]
La Mutta, formerly embargoed for selection races... ran most of a men's course... kneed a tree stump half way around, which wasn't a good idea... orienteering not too difficult technically - good visibility, decent number of tracks... probably very relevant for the short quals...

Sunday Aug 3

orienteering 40:00 [3]
Uaul Grond, on a more recent map... nice loop... first bit i chose to do a trac run to flex the leges, then did a bit of orienteering. nice to have markers at the controls. couple of super-technical areas where deciding one was in the right place took a while...

Friday Aug 1

orienteering 45:00 [3]
La Mutta (1994)
British control choices... 4*5control 'intervals'... went better... possibly because cooler in the morning... one dodgy bit near the end after being distracted by an israeli :)
... don't know how long (time/dist)
