running 1:10:00 [4]
despite the sore muscles after sunday (sorest they've been in years?) i went to training with my new running club, CIV Chevreuse.

After a fifteen minute warmup jog they made us run fast, 3,5,8,5,3 minutes with walk/jog recoveries. was able to go reasonably fast except the last one, pain getting too much for me. nice training with others for once!

Sunday Oct 29

running race 1:11:49 [5] 18.5 km (3:53 / km) +250m 3:38 / km vdot: 56.2
ROUTE des 4 CHATEAUX

Second running race in two years... didn't do badly either, 22nd of > 1500 men, despite incredibly bad tactics letting myself get wedged miles from the start line before the start, so I only start in >500th place and spent a lot of time caught behind people for the first couple of km - I reckon 1-2 minutes lost.
Winner ran 65, I suppose 60-61 is possible...
A large part of the first half was uphill and I was averaging 4:04 kms, sped up on flat and downhill
running warm up/down 20:00 [2]
warming-up
started the warm-up an hour early not having copped the time change. doh!

couldn't warm down after - cramps were lying in ambush. instea got a lovely massage from an osteopath
