before and mostly after the race (which isn't getting written up today).

Osteraker junior relay spectator race, more or less, so it used a path-infested area. It wasn't un-fun, and I somehow managed to make three minutes of mistakes... stupid neil. right quad sore. Ass kicked by a handicapped ass.

Thursday Oct 2

from IFKL clubhouse.

first loop I did well, no major pbs, still in the hunt, possibly getting tired towards the end. In any case, picked up the second map which was 1:10 (first was 1:5) and took a while to get into it. Slow to the first, took a wrong path to the second, think I got the third but after a mistake, relocated carefully offroute to four... then no pbs to the finish.

First time running around Lill Jans Skogen from the office in KTH. It was raining but nice.

Left calf tight while running, both a little tight afterwards.

Headed down to the city hall afterwards for a buffet reception, just what the doctor ordered. Pretty building. Followed it up with a beer in Sjätte Tunnan.

While standing waiting for GPS to start working, my HR dropped to 46 and hung there for a while. Lowest I've seen it while standing!

Tourist run around Langholm, after sunset but still a little light. Partly on trails. Saw a lamp running towards me at one point and was very unimpressed that it wasn't a headlamp and also not an orienteer.

helping out at loppet all weekend. food wasn't great, but other than that it was good. spoke english at people trying to direktanmäla themselves and chucked some bags of clothes around. dismantled buildings and carried stuff and drove a pickup.

very tired after. good training. Surprisingly, my back wasn't especially sore on Monday morning. zzzzzzz
