Note

16.3km last leg Tiomila for Lidingö's third team. Will be epic. We seem to have a vacancy in leg 6... 10km night leg. Also, have to be within two hours of the leaders to avoid the mass start with a reduced-length course, a mere 10km. When did they bring that in?

Note

rester day than intended. Was planning a light jog and some stretching, but I was writing a job appn until three this morning and I had to go to the office today to get it signed, and I think catching up on sleep is more important... zzzzzzzz
knee is still a bit iffy since the lakes, but it'll be fine.

Note

Brother and gf have gone back to berlin, so free to write a research proposal today. So I went and found the spare Garmin strap to repair mine. All well and good except the spare strap is for people with thighs for wrists... so it's a bit loose.

Must go try it out :)

orienteering 1:47:00 [3] 11.92 km (8:59 / km)
ahr:135 max:172

Realised before leaving the flat that I could put the old broken strap back on and just replace the clasp with the clasp from the long strap. Stunningly smart I am.

Drove out to Nacka so as I could drop the car out to the suburbs afterwards. Ran a course Kat did (part of?) when we all went training together before christmas sometime. Ran a bit of it a second time.

Spent a few minutes by one control unsure that I was there... or not really knowing at all that I was there... funny the interpretation, it makes sense once you make it all make sense...

Pretty lazy orienteering, not very motivated to run fast or smoothly... but I avoided major mistakes.
