To from Uni Accomm service. As I got close, someone stopped me on the street and said in a Slavic accent, "You must know! Where is Suunnistajankauppa?" I'd run past it 50m prior.

A good weekend of racing at FinnSpring. A physical 11km on Saturday, 91 minutes (to Detkov's 71), where tiredness led to mistakes, and a better Relay today, running on my own, under two minutes total mistakes I believe, 68 to a fastest 52, I think for 9km, almost all on my own. More technical today, less dead running, and 1:10. Exhaustion from the day before wasn't as bad as I thought, once I got going... No hills helped. Don't think I'll manage to log properly today. And off to Ireland tomorrow!

FinnSpring Relay!

HS 3rd team, H21A. RG, splits

Ran this well, only a few bobbles, some route choices that could be better, but mostly in control. 6th control was the only one where I lost 30s through an execution error, though it seems I got a few routes wrong (9 and 13 I ought to have gone high in the grey instead of going through the green).

Satisfied with the performance. It seems I need to work on speed and smoothness, rather than ability to actually find the controls.

Fastest on this leg was around 52. And I could have done the run-in 30s faster if there were need, but we were a ways back and there was no-one around. I ran the relay mostly on my own. An Espoon Suunto guy passed me to the first control and was running faster, but I finished a bit ahead, and I saw a couple of others around 5/6, I think one or two of them may have ended up beating me, but not all.

Fun :)
