Note

From France, la 177 started early.

Ireland is hard to beat, though.
11 AM

running 1:10:00 [3] 10.34 km (6:46 / km) +163m 6:16 / km

I think there may have been more gulls in Woodstown than geese in Viikki.

Glorious out.

Note

Three sessions and 218 controls this weekend! Pastries and tartes devoured.

On the bus to Waterford. Quite a success.

Note

The Irish people behind me on the bus are more obnoxious than the French woman* whose dog ate my cheese today. Quite an accomplishment.

*rumoured to be the mother of R Maine.
8 AM

orienteering race 3:12:20 [3] *** 19.64 km (9:48 / km) +347m 9:00 / km

La 77!

Lots of fun, spent more time in the rougher parts than I expected, but since I didn't try to run too fast, it all went by pretty quickly.

Yum yum yum.

How about that for post-race analysis.

Note

Woken at 9h37, the train having arrived in gay Paris at 9h27. Not late enough to make up for the lack of sleep earlier.

Thursday Dec 17, 2015 #

Note

Felt like I was about to get sick the past two days, swollen glands, tired, but it seems to have passed!
Train leaves 6h14 tomorrow morning, then sleep somewhere two nights, to Ireland Sunday, bus direct to waterford arriving midnight.... then there for a week I think, before flying out on the 28th.
