Note

"Hi Neil,
Thanks so much for purchasing Bojana’s work. I’m very glad it’s in your home, mainly because it looks great there
but because of a deeper connection. I mentioned the following works to Kate but thought I should just go ahead and
send to you as well. Please let me know if you and your wife and Kate would like to look at additional pieces as we
have much more than you see on our website.

Again thank you for buying work from us, your home is lovely. Kate has done a great job for you.

Best,
Susan"

bike 1:40 [3]

Lausanne to Lavaux (Bellevue, via Grandvaux) and back.

orienteering race 48:00 [3]

Coupe de Printemps, Saint Oyens, TL.

No major mistakes, just a bit slow getting out to one path and a few hesitations, plus not able to run all that fast, despite not carrying a rucksack. More fun now than in three weeks, when the brambles will be carnivorous.

trail run 35:00 [3]

surprisingly unrickety

bike 2:00 [2]

Out to Meyrin where I found a cute gal to massage my thumb and express surprise that it was in such good shape. Then onwards past CERN's rear to Satigny, where I found some tasty Thai lunch, and to Aire and back on bike route #1 to Lancy...

All very pleasant and sunny. Legs felt a little funny, and I'd forgotten that sitting on a road bike is uncomfortable after a while. First ride of the season (after an aborted one shortly after the incident of the thumb).

Note

Is anyone else concatenating France and Switzerland this summer?

Note

First dip in the Rhône this year.

Note

Quickrouted!

And our 'big' mistake in the circle at #6 on day two was because the control was in the wrong place! That makes more sense now.

Note

After getting home, Brendan and I had a rather tasty meal with some of the 1.7kg of food carried around 40km but not eaten. Raw ham, terrine, Tomme, nutty rye bread, normal buttered bread, figs, egg, ovamaltine chocolate.

Yum yum yum.

Parcours B

With the fantabulous bshields to slow me down, or vv. We seemed equally gimpy.

Quickroute. No controls on the map, but the coordinates and descriptions are here. Check the Feuille de Route for the Parcours B.
GPS is pretty accurate, or maybe just on a 1:20 one doesn't notice the discrepancies.
