"Flat" jog which was half walk, half jog, notable for strawberries, views, laziness and nettles. My knee was still bothering me.

Glorious.

And found a puncture repair place later on!

trail run 2:20:00 [2] 14.25 km (9:49 / km) +4870m 3:38 / km

Found a mountain goat and drove up 6km up a dirt road with him to a mountain refuge. Except I didn't. We hummed and hawed over whether to attempt the steep and stony road. Road broached, some skillful driving followed, with even a bit of skidding. And then there was a couple of flat bits with fords 3km in, where I stopped to get out to see if the first ford was traversable. It was, if I removed a couple of big stones, however there was a hissing emanating from the rear left tyre. Damn.

So we parked, put on the granny tyre and went for a run. It was pretty. My arm was still gimpy.
.
The goat was in his natural environment.

I was not dressed for mine.

Not sure what the GPS was up to. More like 800-1000m climb.

We saw camera-shy marmot families and passed Lac d'Anterne.

It was warm in the sun, but all good things set.

We managed to drove down the dirt road, eat some bougnettes and find a place to sleep.
