Note

Walruses, abandoned mining town, fin whales...

Note

Thought I'd caught it early enough, but throat is getting sore in Oslo airport. Flight up north is delayed, scheduled 1.30 arrival now and I have to catch a boat at 8.30 in the morning. At least it'll be bright out.

stretching 40 [3]

8mins on the bike, bit of stretching and strength. Needed this session to become less rickety before tomorrow's run.

Note

So, someone (not me) apparently was marking fourth year data analysis (or some such) exam scripts in an unnamed Irish business school attached to an unspecified Irish university in the south of an unnamed county. The failure rate was relatively high (though nothing close to mine), with a number of students not even getting 20%. One student got 34%, however, but the student number given didn't correspond to anyone registered for the course. Following deep investigation, it turns out a first year student accidentally took the wrong exam, hadn't attended enough of his own lectures to realise he wasn't even taking the correct exam, and still nearly passed and did way better than a bunch of students who in theory had prepared for the test.

Standards!
12 PM

running 37:50 intensity: (12:00 @2) + (25:50 @4) 7.61 km (4:58 / km) +30m 4:52 / km

#22 tempo.

Nigel pulled up with 2k to go, and I was suffering so I slowed a bit at the end.

Cadence of 75 at pace... fast people are 90, is it?
