IMRA Nav Challenge 2
Somewhere (scarr?) between Laragh and the Sally Gap, same place I went orienteering maybe a year ago.

Couldn't find my O shoes, must (?) have left them in Switzerland. Went out in Quechua things which I've been wearing for the last few runs in Achill and Ticknock. They're fine when running on trails, but way too lose at the heel and I slip around in them off trail.

So... as I was developing pain and blisters, I tied them tighter, which helped a bit, but the ball of the foot was then too compacted. Got proper sore going from 4 to 3, when it wasn't going numb... it and the Bermuda triangle of rock, ferns and heather coming in to 3 slowed me right down.

Heading to 5, I loosened the laces again, slippedy slippedy, but at least it didn't hurt too much, but it was still hard work to keep moving.

Clean apart from being 100m off at 4, only the guts of an hour behind Shane.

Cycled past the deserted village and the quarry to Dooagh, then back via Crossroad.

Nice out. Accosted a German who was collecting shaggy ink caps.
