Ultra pace run in Casa de Campo with Hannah biking alongside. The run was much more pleasant because I had her along.

Orienteering 5:27:00 [3] 46.0 km (7:07 / km) +1800m 5:57 / km

Peguerinos Rogaine. Distance and climb are estimated since we were officially not allowed to wear GPS. I did this with a good orienteering friend, Juanma. We ran really really well. I think about 85% of the time we were running.

We got back with so much extra time that we felt frustrated about not punching two controls that seemed too far away. We had more than enough time to punch those two controls. We didn´t know that at the time though. At any rate we could have won it but we finished fourth. The nice part is that the team that won had the current world Rogaine champion Tommy Tölkko on it. It´s nice to know we were that close to beating him. Juanma and I are planning on doing another one at the end of June now. This is fun!

Speedwork on Madrid Rio. Workout was 4x1600 at 10k pace +/- with 3 minutes break in between. I felt pretty good. Hard to start off. It's been a while since I've done speed work like this.
