Running 20:00 [3] 4.0 km (5:00 / km)

Ten minute warmup. Ten minute cooldown.

Running tempo 20:00 [4] 6.0 km (3:20 / km)

A solid workout on Madrid Río. I just couldn't summon the strength to run in Casa de Campo. I didn't expect to cover 6 kilometers, but I kept it comfortably hard and that ended up being the distance. Not a bad day. Stomach was hurting a bit, it slowed me down somewhat.

Orienteering 1:40:00 [3] 13.0 km (7:42 / km)

Night Line-O in CDC. This was quite difficult to start off. I also learned a lot of what I need to do in order to make Line-Os go faster. Lessons learned and moved on. But this is a useful training tool.

The idea with this tool is to continually be more accurate and faster. It definitely made me focus on that.

Running 50:00 [3] 8.0 km (6:15 / km) +450m 4:53 / km

Night run with Richi in the Sierra del Hoyo de Manzanares. Two fun facts: this is the mountain range that is seen behind the town in Fistful of Dollars. https://youtu.be/KZ_7br_3y54 And we saw 5 shooting stars when we enjoying the views from the peak.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 7.0 km (8:34 / km)

Multitechnique training in El Pardo
10 minute warmup, 45 minute course, 5 minute cooldown.
For some reason my stomach was feeling upset. So I wasn't able to push as hard. I still was able to do this 6k in about 45 minutes while fighting through the green.

The course had 7 controls. It consisted of 2 long legs, a corridor, a line-o, and then navigation through thick vegetation.

I forgot my compass. Did not help me today.

Also, a little hot while running.

Cycling 1:45:00 [1] 30.0 km (17.1 kph)

A good cycle up to El Pardo and back home.

Cycling 1:05:00 [1] 25.0 km (23.1 kph)

Running 1:00:00 [3] 14.0 km (4:17 / km)

Easy run around CDC. Hamstring was feeling back at 100% today. Good stuff.

Cycling 1:05:00 [1] 25.0 km (23.1 kph)

Note

Hamstring was feeling quite sore after the hill reps. So I decided to call it a rest day. Better than aggravating an injury.
