Running 30:00 [3] 6.8 km (4:25 / km)

Ankle felt f***ing brilliant on the run this morning. I'm ready to go!

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 3.0 km (5:00 / km)

Orienteering 35:07 [3] *** 5.0 km (7:01 / km) +180m 5:57 / km

Madrid Middle championship on a map in the southeast of the Comunidad de Madrid. Not all that interesting of terrain and a map that needed some more work.

The icing on the cake was that I twisted my ankle. I've never had problems with ankle sprains before, but this one hurts enough to convince me that exercise over the next few days is not a good idea. Frustrating that this happens just before TT. With a few days' rest I should be ready to go. I only need to make sure I don't do anything stupid like running. That's tough for me.

Cycling 45:00 [2] 15.0 km (20.0 kph)

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] ** 11.0 km (5:27 / km)

Three mass start sprints with the guys. Forking included. Really fun. Also really good to have the guys out there because I pushed a good deal more with them there.

Map 1
Time: 8:26
I screwed up number 1 because all the people distracted me. I didn't have a compass and took the first street to the right. That took me out of the race. Last one to finish.

Map 2
Time: 7:43
Much better. First to finish.

Map 3
Time: 5:07
First to finish, although Manu and I left control 7 at the same time. He didn't push on the uphill. I did.
