Staggered start, age-graded race at Frances Slocum.

Not bad, but again not good. I normally beat Mario by 5-6 minutes on courses around this length, but today he got me by a minute. So yeah, something still seems off.

No results back from the lab yet. Just waiting.

Of course I didn't have service for the live tracking.

Pure, savage, unforgiving. The words that go through my head every time I orienteer in Mocanaqua.

Fun singletrack at Hubbard with the dudes. Very nice forest. At least deserving of a kartta map : )

400, 2x800, 400

Legs were waking up on the first 400, but everything was great after that.

Downhill on a kartta map

But you have to run up the mountain first. Legs were still tired and heavy, very surprising after two days of full rest.

Really fun downhill, but it was another good reminder not to put too much trust in OSM trails.

Cycling 21:05 intensity: (19:42 @1) + (1:23 @3) 7.56 km (21.5 kph) +33m
ahr:96 max:117

Note

Just had blood samples taken for a comprehensive panel that measures about 50 different variables. I expect it's just the same sort of problems with low iron that I've always experienced, but I want to rule out other potential issues.

So really there are two things for me to focus on:
1. Determining whether it's iron deficiency, something else, or my body is dropping off a cliff as I age.
2. If it is low iron, how I can maintain iron levels during periods of higher volume.

But I'll wait for the results and move from there.
