Warm down for Park run

Running race (Park run ) 21:47 [5] 5.0 km (4:21 / km)

Flat Park run at Lake Macquarie, I had a good week in the lead up so wanted to push for a quick time. 21:47 is really good for where I'm at with running, still room to get sub 20 though!

Slow jog around umina at night. The sort of weather that has people walking around just cause its nice!

Did a fifteen km run in Newcastle on an old railway line with my old man.
It was a slow time but you couldn't expect anything else. Clearly I was jet-lagged (flew from Hobart to Sydney yesterday) suffering from the heatwave (it was at least 21 degrees) and not coping with the hills (the first two km had a 0.5% gradient, with the remainder being downhill). Plus dad really struggled with a few stops. I hope we don't have to put him down.
