Other (Soccer) 1:00:00 [3]

played a game of soccer with my group of junior fire fighters... they are age 13-16, and they definitely know how to kick a soccer ball already... the game was a lot of fun, even though we lost in a 10-9 shoot out

Other (Swimming) 26:00 [3]

another short swimming practice... it's unbelievable, even the water is getting too warm by now... today it was 27°C in the big public pool - that's not exactly what i call refreshing... (don't wanna know how hot some smaller private pools are)... I felt my arms and chest muscles towards the end of the practice, which must be due to the uncommon movements... guess I'm gonna be sore tomorrow

Other (Swimming) 26:00 [3]

with the temperatures as hot as this, I discovered swimming as a suitable alternative to running... so I went to the public pool and swam for 26 minutes straight... could have gone on after that, but needed to get back to work :) it made for some nice training though, which was way more intense than I had expected it to be

Running 51:12 [3] 9.7 km (5:17 / km)

evening run on my favorite course to au and back... given the hot temperatures (31°C when I started the run at 8.15 p.m.), I am very happy with the overall performance... I noticed considerable improvement regarding my stamina and endurance, even though I had to fight a bit towards the end... I'm still not quite where I left off when I took my prolonged pause from running in early May, but there is still some hope for me :)

note to self: having dinner less than 2 hours prior to a run will prevent a feeling of hunger while running, but will create a feeling of nausea which is about ten times worse than hunger.
