Cycling 3:00:00 [3] 50.0 km (3:36 / km) +100m 3:34 / km

long bike ride to anger (bavaria) with lisa... we stopped several times along the way for lunch, swimming, ice cream, whatever... still it was a nice and easy training session to keep these legs moving

Running 1:01:41 [3] 12.0 km (5:08 / km) +150m 4:50 / km

trial run for fuschlseelauf... didn't know where the exact start point will be so I just parked somewhere along the race track and started off... seems as if today's track might have been 200 m short but oh well...
I am quite happy with today's time as I have improved my pb by more than 4 minutes (old one was at ~1:06:00)... fuschlseelauf should be fun and hopefully the race atmosphere will make me break the 1-hour-barrier

Running 1:30:00 [3] 12.0 km (7:30 / km) +250m 6:48 / km

so, only 2 more weeks of training until things get serious at fuschlseelauf... in order to add some variation to my training, I hit Müllner Stiege again today... this is what I did

1. 25 mins run to Müllner Stiege as a warm-up... tried to push as much as I could without wearing myself out completely

2. 10 sets of fast running up the steps at Müllner Stiege and running (later walking) back down... that makes a total of about 1,230 steps... yeah baby

3. run back home via Stiege Nonntal - Akademiestraße - Hellbrunner Allee... tried to give everything I had still in me, which was not a lot I gotta admit... still made it home okay though

Cycling 45:00 [3] 12.0 km (3:45 / km)

evening bike ride to leopoldskron with lisa... too bad it was cut short by a thunderstorm which forced us to return home earlier than planned... nevertheless, a slow bike ride is great to shake off any fatigue that might be in your legs
