With Bec on the Dights Falls loop. Cool enough for a light weight track top. In the gloomy pre dawn light saw hundreds of bats returning to their Yarra Bend roosting spots. It was a bit eerie as they were completely silent.

It is definitely getting harder to be excited about getting up at 5.45am. Feels like the middle of the night. Headlamps on until well past Dights Falls. Four of us this morning so a bit more chatter and a slightly slower pace. Lovely to finish as the sun came up.

It was still raining late last night so I decided to go to the 6am Group session rather than walk this morning. I thought Annette and Bec might walk but they were at the studio when I arrived. New trainer Simon had some nasty little exercises that he threw in there.

Kitchen Garden duty. This weeks menu was hand made fettuccine with a ragguleto sauce, leafy green salad, rosemary foccacia and apple and rhubarb crumble. Anyone want to join me?
