DEESIDE OC Delamere Regional Event :D

home ground :D

was very cold and had a lateish start time so i didnt have to get up early, even managed a game of fifa before i went :D anyway good course like delamere path routes or straight though took a mixture of both today which was good. was running strong and fast most of the time maybe twice had to slow down for 30 seconds for getting tired and a stich once, but was fine within seconds after a little walk for 10 metres up a hill and i had chance to plan. no real mistakes apart from 2 controls on the run 13 and 14. 13 i went round which was longer but to be honest i think i should have gone straight across the rough fell instead of going round adding 1 minute and messsing the control up adding maybe another minute maybe minute and a half. finally 14 got mixed up with the vegation boundarys around 30 - minute gained.

overall good run with good running and most importantly good map reading though out the whole course apart from 2 bits but wasnt to bad. without mistakes maybe 42-43 minutes but will settle for 45 as i still came first and still a good respectable time. beat chris nash by 1.20s ish and alex by 3ish. good run with 5.37 min/km in delamere. happy with today!
