Ran up and down the embankment a few times, then a loop around the grass as the track was too icy.

A 400m loop, using snow ball as markers, 4 laps, 1st one a warm up, 2nd and 3rd a 3/4 race pace and then 4th as warm down.

Ran round a 250m loop and the coach shouted go and we sprinted for a set time, did it about twice a lap.

Ran out for 10 minutes and found some posts for a start point

There were 2 posts that took us about 1 minute to run between so we did 10 x 1 min with 1 minute between each one. On the first one we only had 30 seconds rest but after that we decided to make it 1 minute. At one point we were counting down to start and a cyclist was coming towards us, i don't know what he thought.

Ran back along the middlewood way, a bit past eddies and back along the road. My legs were really hurting to start with, but after a few minutes it was better.

Went on a walk with my family up into the Peak District
Parked near taxal and went up to the ridge, along to windgather and back down through Erwood, at some points the snow was up to our knees and the wind was up so it was drifting up quite quickly. There was some big cornices on the end of the ridge.
