Running 52:38 [3] 10.6 km (4:58 / km) +133m 4:40 / km

Was planning to do 17km, but i was only about 300m out of the door by the time i had shin splints and could hardly run, after that i slowed down and opted for a route which kept on switching between hard surfaces and soft, so they were under control. Was a really nice day too, so i missed out on a good long run.

Wednesday run from the gregory's
ran with Dan and my Dad, an extended loop to the normal run from there. After about 10 minutes i had shin splints and they didn't go away until about 9 km in, when we started to run on a grass track. Felt quite fast and was painful for the 7km or so i had shin splints, i really need to start the excercises again.

JIrC's relay simulation, one of the controls seemed to be in the wrong place, but looking at it afterwards, it was right, the map was wrong. The scattered dark green had grown into real dark green and the original white woodland had been felled, so it had all switched around
