orienteering 1:36:00 [3]

naseby, started with a line course that georgia drew for us, was in the technical bits so good for a bit of getting used to being on map again. Then did some control picking in the really small crazy stuff further up before doing a course back to crib. Was pretty slow and blah at times but once got into it was going ok, so nice to be back in the forest

orienteering 37:00 [3]

was going to do the mens sprint from otago champs last year, went to start and did first few controls sweet but overran 1 caus enot used to scale, then completely overran another two so decided to actually make training worthwhile and slowed down and started talking to myself, kinda like self-verbalisation and making good plans, was sweet after that

running-road warm up/down 13:00 [3]

started raining so very short

running-track intervals 30:00 [5]

intervals at caledonian, 4x200 which were pretty slow, around 45ish but considering it was morning as well and I'm slow in the morning not too worried, then 3x1k did 4.04, 4.01, 3.51, last one decided to just go hard and try get under 4.00 and found it not too bad should have been going harder on the earlier ones. Then a school turned up to do their athletics day so had to get off track, annoying cause i really wanted to push on last 4x200 but just did 4x45secs around rugby field. was good

running-road 1:13:00 [3]

first run with harriers club, went around some roads then up frasers gully and to 3 mile hill then back across maori hill to get home, was pretty stoppy starty cause they tried to mix too many dofferent abilities together but ended up running ahead with the leader girl, really nice and she used to go to knox!!she was talking about how she'd just finished track season and then she smoked me up one of the last hills, a whole lot quicker than me but i blatantly had more hill strength than most of the other girls there so pretty happy with that. Going to do reps on tuesdays with them, core on wednesday morning and wednesday arvo runs and hopfully some sturday ones too. She mentioned running the routeburn a couple of weeks after easter so hopefully with a bit more fitness under my belt i'll get invited to come along!!!
