Monumental struggle with motivation today but glad I went.
Session was basically 3 x 6 min reps, but aiming to shave 6 seconds off the same distance with each rep. So:
1 x 6 mins (worked out after the distance was c. 1 mile)
1 x 1mi in 5:54
1 x 1mi in 5:48
(all 2 minutes recovery)
Struggled so much on the last one and was so glad we weren't doing a fourth (most of the group doing the Oxford Half on Sunday so the session was shortened). But pleased with consistency and not feeling too sluggish.
Very sore left outer shin/calf. Seems to fade when running but whenever I stop it throbs. Ugh left leg can't you sort it out?!
