Running 45:14 [3]

Round the parks, round ChCh meadow and over to Hinksey ponds. Stopped here in tears as left shin was aching and throbbing. Not sure to what extent the pain is just psychological as I can definitely run through it - it's just pretty uncomfortable. Hobbled back. So frustrated and pissed off with myself for being so bad at dealing with frustration.

Running 30:00 [3]

Very slow, very tentative jogging round Headington/South Park. Twinging/stiffness but definitely bearable. Such a joy to be out in the autumn evening rather than the sweaty gym.

Running tempo 31:00 [5] 4.5 mi (6:53 / mi)

Attempted a jog to the gym and felt a little twinge in the knee but considerably better than previously.
So decided to try it out on the treadmill with the caveat of stopping if I felt any pain. And I didn't! The twinging just went away completely. Happy, happy days! So did a 4.5 mile tempo averaging at 6:45 pace. HR well over 190 for the last 5 minutes.
Iced and stretched when home, but haven't had any problems with it since then.
Going to be sensible and not launch myself back into road running. Will do some trail runs and see how it goes. But SO relieved.

Back with Megan again. Gruesome and relentless. Seemed to be working in lower gears but found it much harder than usual - think maybe the bikes are all slightly different?!

2hr walk from Blenheim to Yarnton. Everything looking very autumnal but countryside wasn't particularly inspiring.
