Recce of a different sort: this time my commute, which I want to start running as the rush hour gets me down. Straightforward running, through Camden and Kings Cross. 4 miles door to door.
Pushing on a bit as feeling good.

Got the train down to Winchester to recce the last leg of the SDW relay. Accidentally took the riders' route out of the town but joined the main path at Chilcomb. Round Cheesefoot Head (mmm), then pretty simple nav all the way along to Holden farm. Hadn't realised it would take so long to get onto the route from the station so hadn't fuelled properly. Luckily some ladies saw me looking for a shop at Holden farm and offered me a cereal bar. Rejuvenated, I headed back to Winch, making sure to clock all the turnings and tricky bits. There are a few points where the route dives off through a hole in the hedge so need to be careful there.
Overall great day, legs felt good, barely noticed the hills even though there were a few. Had a mooch about Winchester afterwards. Nice town, got a bit of a traffic problem though.
