Good consistency the last few weeks (at least compared to the start of the year), including session reintro and some hilly days in El Chorro with Oleg last week.
The Dalkeith prescription of continuing training through various leg pains (within reason) has paid off and I enjoyed racing BUCs this weekend with the least discomfort in over 4 months, which was very nice. Legs and lungs good during the relay but had no push on the individual, resulting an experience far less enjoyable and comfortable than the usual race feeling. Nice to know such a race isn't dramatically detrimental to my result but want to get on top of whatever ruined me so much regardless. Though, it was most likely a combination of not eating enough, my dissertation due this week, and a heavy previous week in Spain.
But anyway, my left hamstring, right quad, and most of my back have now settled down to just about forgettable levels without focussing on them constantly.
Next up is a few weeks of hill racing followed by 10mila + BOC, and then some big hill races that I'm very excited to finally give myself the opportunity to run. After 4pm on Thursday I should be considerably less stressed.
