At Turee with W. Snowing moderately. I saw a figure on the pond, pretty far away. Figured it was an ice fisherman. A few minutes later, was surprised to see that same figure gliding by on the ice not 30 yards from me, then turn left on a SM track and voila, stop right in front of me as W was not going to left him get away w/o a greeting. Looked like a good time on the pond. Had no camera. And no enthusiasm for much more than a walk - pleasantly wintry though.
