O walk at Bear Brook on way back from boat which I hadn't seen in 45 days (12/31) to my surprise. Lots of MTB trail (think same one) I kept crossing. Snow was not really deep. Didn't have gaiters. 16 vehicles in parking. Had a nice conversation with a MTBer around my age, he leaning against a tree on a trail in the "middle" of the woods - I wondering if this MTB trail was also the mapped one I was looking for - but no blazes noted.
