C: 231,215,309,219,219,139 - 14:12.35

Plan was for BHS track after work but very hot w/ promise of rain, so I added second lap.

shoes: New Balance 1011
noon alone - went to 5th district rd & ran loop not run in perhaps 3 yrs,
views NW fm Ross Strawberry farm lovely; new deer fence to negotiate this time, climbed it & it held, also nice grassy cart track over water line fm Penacook Res as well as stretch on old RR bed. About 9' driving ea way plus bit of cool off, fairly long lunch hr.

Tuesday Jul 29

trail/woods running 42:09 [3]4.4 mi (9:34 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 1011
w/ Diane over hill & dale at St. Paul's, nice variety of campus, track, fields, paths.

Monday Jul 28

road running 40:09 [3]4.1 mi (9:47 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 1011
w/ Diane & David, south S. st, Iron Works, Clinton, Langley Pkwy & bk in woods. Sluggish. I mysteriously lost Diane's gps & spent $106 to replace.

3 times 1600 @ BHS track, 7:01, 6:51, 6:53 - felt ok, could have done more.

Sunday Jul 27

trail/woods running 25:06 [3]2.2 mi (11:23 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 1011
Sun am dog jog, Mocha, Zoe, Nero, Cimba...in part to find peace at home. usual cloud of deer flies. Hard rain last night, cool w/ shafts of sunlight in the forest.

stop for a coffee break...

all that hard work of running deserves...
road running 58:48 [3]* 6.3 mi (9:20 / mi)
shoes: New Balance 1011
pm run, no dogs. pavement...Allen, WHH, Bow Cntr, Bow Bog, home - felt good. Tried Blue Logger gps but it failed me as usual - it's teetering on the brink... Rain began just as I finished, depressingly dark at 4:20, for time being anyway. Very humid but didn't seem to bother me. Next day went to blue logger forum & found long, intelligent, irrefutable discussion by one C. Morse (scientist) that made me feel better/laugh in stating that the item is a pc of frustrating junk in a most eloquent, convincing fasion

Saturday Jul 26

trail/woods running 34:35 [3]5.2 km (6:39 / km)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia
w/ Mocha, Nottingcook loop, around noon...bright, hot but shade. Zoe left behind due to bad nail, very quiet w/ just one dog.

Friday Jul 25

trail/woods running 41:00 [3]4.2 mi (9:45 / mi)
weight:161.4lbs shoes: Brooks Cascadia
w/ David, bright sunny noon, bit hot but dry; had Diane's gps for track/dist but it shut off 3 times, not sure why, batt ok. David again wanted to walk, no deal as I was going to track later. Wgt as low as it's been in 15 yrs I bet. Had 3 beers & 3 servings of ice cream yest, no apparent damage.
track 21:25 [4]4.8 km (4:28 / km)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia
BHS track, hottish, dry, had cap which helped me feel prepared as well as gallon water bought at Bow Mobil, helped me feel prepared. 7:25, 7:12, 6:48, never really felt tired, 300m walk between.

Thursday Jul 24

trail/woods running 14:11 [4]2.0 mi (7:04 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia
2.1mi (need to get the dist more accurate). Noon, no one else. Rainy day, showers, hard at times. Ran PR on
SPS loop! 14:11 (nc:144,207,211,308,220,239) Knew I was going to do only
one, that helped. Wanted to do well, that helped. Legs felt very good, that
helped. Had gps on top of head - want to get dist correct as well as see on
topo accurately. Was a bit too hot & lifted my shirt up as much as I could
- could not easily remove. Finally got gps to blue tooth again w/ computer
- always a struggle. But the damn thing had no data.

Was supposed to stop at BHS track on way home; very hard rainy day;
went to track, rain had stopped but started again - came home...2 lg servings ice cream & nap instead, later 3 beers, another serving ice cream to set things right....
