Saturday Jan 6

orienteering (mapping) 2:45:00 [1]3.0 mi (55:00 / mi)
once rain stopped, proved good for mapping, finishing up small bits. Had one discrepancy of around 30 meters, will have to see what went wrong tomorrow. Saw some mushrooms, thousands of larvae in a pool, 69 deg in Concord...bad times are coming for man...

Also let go the 6 mice (that were living in Petco house); took the whole house to a place in the forest by a storage bldg,
pick up the 'playpen' tomorrow. I'm pretty sure they'd rather be wild than have food & shelter in a 'prison'. There'll be more. We've caught about 25 since Oct.

Friday Jan 5

trail/woods running 40:00 [2]4.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
lazy or stiff? meander in Concord around noon, unduly warm

Thursday Jan 4

trail/woods running 54:00 [3]6.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
from work at noon - not as warm as yest. Felt pretty good,
mostly hardtop but passed thru SPS in woods.

Wednesday Jan 3

trail/woods running 45:00 [3]4.0 mi (11:14 / mi)
6 approx 500m laps on field at St Paul's school around 2:30-35 per lap, lovely noon hour, plus run to & from car

Tuesday Jan 2

weights 35:00 [1]
35' weights at Planet Fitness...gotta be worth something...

Sunday Dec 31

orienteering (mapping) 2:45:00 [1]3.0 mi (55:00 / mi)
Mapping in Nottingcook, started on a north slope on edge of forest under heavy hemlock cover, proved cold & even a touch depressing as it was hard to get it right, so spent the rest in relative sunshine, easier work. Dogs along as always. No nature noted but 5 mice now live on kitchen counter.
