Weightexercise workout 40:00 [1]

Have been remiss re exercise - too much T-Giving intervention, NHH work and house improvement stuff with deadline.
3 PM

Cardio 17:18 [2] 1.16 mi (14:55 / mi) +1m 14:52 / mi

After the Y, stopped at BHS. It was still a warm afternoon. Overcast, calm. I had no get-go which was not surprising, and so was satisfied with a mile. Needed to get home to grand kids' visit, too.

Mocha (15y4m) jumped into the back of the car unaided this morning: ingredients were the morning energy we all have, as well as its being chilly with the additional enthusiasm of no car-walk yesterday, and the optimal treat for the final psychological boost.

Walking 1:07:09 [1] 2.5 mi (26:52 / mi) +103m 23:49 / mi

T-Giving morn, to NHH around 0800. Power out as I left! Had to wait for a Turkey Trot 5k with hundreds of runners. Called back the days of 5k races in Burlington, finally struggling to stay ahead of a grandchild.

Nottingcook walk on an attractive section that I’d hadn't visited in years. I came across streamers that went on and on, not always in a single file - often some were quite a bit left or right and even bending/turning in ways that made no sense. It was hard to decide whether it was a hunter keeping track of where abouts of a stand I failed to see or MTBers engineering multiple paths too illogical to have stand. In any event, it was bothersome from BOS BOD perspective, stewards of the forest, yet persons unknown leaving forest 'trash' for unclear reasons. Orienteers need pick up their streamers as I believe they do.

Nice to be in local woods. Thanksgiving, beginning years back, always called for time in the woods before settling inside. In the past, many calories were burned. A Mt. Greylock run c. fall '94 comes to mind. Today was a far cry from then.

Walk-jog 57:54 intensity: (42:54 @1) + (15:00 @2) 3.23 mi (17:56 / mi) +91m 16:29 / mi

SPS walk-jog, still breezy, chilly. Saw more gray squirrels than people (7). The first person I passed (after 45') close-by was a woman, maybe 40, coming my way in a field on the XC course. Said hello but she didn't make eye contact tho 3' away. The second was a guy just before finishing with a normal greeting. Nice to be on the campus with mix of fields, paths thru woods and among campus buildings.

Walking 34:38 [1] 1.47 mi (23:33 / mi) +14m 22:53 / mi

Concord neighborhoods around 4pm. Got NW windy as the cold front developed but not so cold. Lots to look at in the way of houses/yards, White Park, people. Generally old houses, big & small, ornate, simple, many multi-family, all pretty close together, a Halloween neighborhood, unlike ours. Gibson's after. The day's devotion was to dry wall smoothing, painting, etc, putting off exercise til late which is seldom in the best interest of any real energy output.

Stopped to capture a November moment
