Crusted mashed potatoes the whole way. At least it's not dangerous out there. Just a tough slog.

Spectacular run/walk into Tews falls. To my shame, I have never been on that trail before. And what a setting! Balogna, Hammer, PH, AG!, Courtney and Sergei all joined in to stare open mouthed at the pipe organ majesty of a magnificent waterfall in winter.
Treacherous run today. Some beauty travesties. Hammer, as usual, showed us how it was done. He's a gifted faller. PH went down next and I took a pounder on the Bruce on the way home. All falls were full body side swipes; all potentially injury making, but H's second fall--that over achiever--was the truly scary one. Off camber glare ice at Sherman Falls. Head smasher. He was brave about it, but PH and I were pretty sure he sloshed his brains around pretty good. Etoile should keep him awake for the next 24 hours.
The run down K2 was the best of the winter. Some day I want to run downhill like PH and Hammer.
Shoulderhab. Figured out some new ways to make it hurt.
run hills 50:00 [5]
Hotel treadmill run high above Super Bowl way. 3 minutes x 10. Starting at 9% increasing by .3 or .4 % each time! to end at 12%. Was feeling good so kicked it up to 15% for an additional minute at the end. 6mph the whole way with 1 minute between hills.
