Gentler loop with Rox with stops along the way to make sure her wound was staying calm. She nearly caught and tackled a deer. Soooo close. Next time.

Labour day group class. About as hard a thing as one can do in the 30 degree heat. The usual warmups. The WoD was 20 minutes. Every Minute on the Minute (EMOM) went from box jumps to one arm thrusters to the rowing machine, then one minute of rest. So four minutes per rep times five. Super intense.

Sunday morning burner in the thick late summer air with Super. I double crossed him by doing the burner loop backwards, meaning K2 up front. That broke him. I carried on.

Final SMT of the summer with HC. Good run. Graeme has gotten stronger and more resilient over the past year and it will be interesting to follow his progress. All the best at Waterloo, my friend!

SMT has also had a good run, but it's kind of had its day. I'm still going to do Saturday morning runs, but holding to an 8am start and all that, well, it's time to chill, get a bit more relaxed about things. Head out whenever the urge hits, maybe sometimes go to the gym instead...

Run around with Tarno and the snarling, mangled mess of brawling dog mass that is Koko/Roxy. Koxy. Roko. They become as one. But blurry because of the speed.

Strength day. Squat, strict press and deadlift. I am not strong. I'm fit, but not strong. This is a good thing to know. Lots of room above me to improve quickly. Superb coaching. They will not let you do it wrong.
