LSD Saturday. An hour of perfect trails concentrating on defining the exact moment the snowstorm started. Got it. 61 minutes. Then just enjoyed myself watching the Valley white over. Lovely stuff.

Olympic lifting class. Gonna beat my posture issues once and for all. And nothing shows how much work I have to do than overhead squats. Coach Kyle is a master teacher (and suitably inscrutable given how much of a gomer I am at this stage). By Oly lifting--real Oly lifting--is so much more involved than the rough and ready stuff that happens in a regular Crossfit class. Have decided to make this happen every Saturday.

Back squats to a heavy four. I am concentrating on geting to a full squat--below 90 degrees. I can do that to 140 pounds.

Then 5 minute AMRAPs--
1) 9 pushups, 9 light deadlifts
Two minutes rest
2) 9 Devil's press. 9 24 kg kettlebell swings.

Hills day. Going around skunk holler, up artaban, head smashed in, hammerfell, the whalebacks, the switchbacks, k2. Every single hill we encountered we just barrelled into. Hard as we could. I counted 15 max effort bursts.

Huge wotkout. 2000 meter row for time (7:30 for me). Then dumbbell rows push press and toes to bar for 9 minutes.
