just did some light tempo / pace work during the first stage of the tour. i had the kids again and just not able to get up and get out. a little tired this week and both mel and i not feeling well....sore sore muscles. not sure what it is. feels better once out of bed and moving around, but feel like a punching bag..overall not a bad workout. i kept the pace steady trying to work on cadence. should be able to get some quality rides in this week while i'm away.

both mel and i are suffering a really minor cold we think. The whole body is aching, like we've been punching bags for someone. It's weird because mentally no problems, but the body is sore.

anyways i managed a hill workout on the trainer as i have the girls this week and completely screwed of getting outside for a ride. it was spinervals uphill grind and i had a good quality workout, but i just didn't have enough energy to give it all, but was still a number 4 workout. a little lack of sleep this week and also played a part too as was on evenings and had kids in am and waking up at around 640 am. gone next week to aylmer, so probably able to get some good rides in there (hopefully)

mel went shoping and i ran out of time to get a quality ride into work before my shift, so i settled for watching a video and doing some tempo work on the trainer. better then nothing. i did feel a little tired from woirking evenings the past two nights including the ride into work but felt pretty good finishing up. i wish i was able to do a longer ride but the quality in the 43 mins was good.

rode into work this am. from burbrook. all of unity to battersea rd and then through town up fort henry hill and a small circuit dowtown before heading to station. much different riding with traffic. i'm not use to it.

did spinervals time trial work out. held a high cadence pace (i though) throughout the ride. i really gave it all i had in the final segment of the video with the 20 sec all out sprints. i was outside on the deck on the trainer and it was nice to get out of the basement for a ride. i was stuck due to a bad night sleep with kiddo and i was home with the girls, so i was stuck on a trainer ride. felt good tho. at least i got one in
