Felt good in the legs but the nav was sloppy for a property that I know fairly well. Only one massive mistake at CP7 but it was a doozy. I would have guessed about a 5 minute mistake, but in looking at the track, it actually cost me about 8 minutes. For a course this length that is a pretty painful mistake. I don't know what I was thinking. My approach was horrible, and I spent time searching in the entirely wrong spot. Ugh.

I did take one embarrassingly unnecessary spill crotch deep in a creek which woke me up, but other than that I managed to stay upright on a pretty slick course.

The leg strength really was encouraging considering getting sick over the holiday and not training all that much.
