Decided at the last minute to ride with the second group. Gnarly cross winds combined with weak riders all crossing the center line to stay in the draft led to a lot of work for me. Good ride for the first group ride of the year, will feel better when I can do it with bike shoes.

Legs didn't feel great, had to take a few walking breaks, BUT completed my first brace free run, so that's a win.
