Rock Climbing 1:15:00 [3]

bouldering session at rock climbing gym in bellevue. Fun to be on new routes. Lots of balancing moves. I got some Kris couldn't and he got way more than I could. Taken what I can get. To wet to go climbing outside.

Started course in Python via Lynda. Finished some chapters of the Data Science Handbook.

Trail run by my aunt's house in Issaquah washington. Super fun trails. Planning on running tmrw, and maybe the next day. Knee OK on downhills if I focused on my form. Got lost and added about 1.5 miles.

* I lived here for 2 months between undergrad and grad, and I never once hit these trails. Not sure what was wrong with me, but I just didn't have the guts to explore back then. I just studied and did manual labor for my aunt to pay for rent for a solid 2 months. Crazy memories coming back.

Drove most of yesterday up to bend. Couldn't find a campspot, so went to a place we know well: the 24hr course. Hoping to do it again this year with TK.

It was nice and cool at night, but balls hot during the day. Still a little sore in the right knee, but good to get out of the van and move the legs. Up to Issaquah we go.

First road for a long ass time, like really since before the snow hit last year. I did a small road ride for a filming thing, but that really shouldn't count.

Felt pretty good on form and position on the bike. But my legs are weak ass.

Kris decided he wanted to run with me on the up. He was a good pacer. I had to walk half way down because of knee pain. I suspect either my calf or hip flexor is tight and pulling my knee out of alignment. I only really feel it the moment I start going down hill.

#vanlife. Just stepped over a homeless lady we coined "turrets" as I was going to the bathroom. She either yells at you or tells you random facts, never really know what you're going to get. She has taken up sleeping in front of the door outside the entrance to the restrooms... and both Kris and I don't dare tell her to leave, that and she needs to place to sleep. However, last night, I had to pee, but didn't want to deal with her at 1am ish, so I peed in a bucket in the office; butt naked and peeing in a bucket at work, that was a first. Emptied it first thing before the boss came in :)
